(NECN: Alison King) - Outgoing Mayor Tom Menino has led Boston since 1994.

As Menino prepares to walk away from the job he loves after 20 years, NECN takes a look back at his legacy.

From t-shirts to baseball caps to plaques, Menino has collected hundreds of gifts, awards and other mementos over the year. They are all stored in his City Hall office.

"This is a great office," he said. "The view you have here - there's no other view in the city like this."

The office looks out onto historic Faneuil Hall. Mayor Menino will leave it January 6 after two decades, adding up to a lot of mementos of appreciation.

"People realize I like clocks, and so they started giving me clocks every place I went," said Menino.

In this segment, Menino looks fondly at what everything in his office means to him.
