Danielle Niles is the weekday morning meteorologist for NECN, delivering forecasts on NECN Morning and The Morning Show. A Weymouth, Mass. native, Niles joined NECN in November 2008. She was previously employed at Weather Services
International in Andover, MA, as a forecaster for private energy

"I am absolutely thrilled to be working in New England, forecasting
with such a dedicated and talented Weather Team at a news station that
is well-respected across the entire region," Niles says. "I have had a
passion for the weather ever since I was a little girl, and working as
a broadcast meteorologist has always been a dream of mine."
Ever since she was young, Danielle has shared an enthusiasm for severe
weather, blizzards, thunderstorms and hurricanes to name a few. She has
even been storm chasing in the Midwest where she saw her first tornado.
Niles is a 2006 cum laude graduate of the University of
Massachusetts/Lowell where she earned her bachelor's degree in
atmospheric science, and was captain of the women's varsity soccer
