(NECN: Nelly Carreno) – Though there is a lingering light and fluffy snow in Boston, freezing conditions are still making travel conditions more difficult.

About five inches of snow landed in Boston’s Back Bay.

Roads were much more dangerous around midnight, but crews have been working hard to clean up and salt. There is still a layer of ice under some of the snow.

The parking ban in Boston will be lifted in Boston around 8 a.m. Wednesday.
