Arrests made in connection with dragging of New Britain, Conn. police officer

(NECN) - Vermont State Police have made an arrest in connection with the dragging of a New Britain, Connecticut police officer.
     
Jaheem Synpe, 19 was arrested Wednesday night at a friend's home in Barton in connection with striking and dragging a police officer with a stolen vehicle.
     
Frankie Gonzalez, 23, was also arrested. He was wanted for hindering prosecution.
     
New Britain Officer Brett Morgan was severely injured Sunday night while attempting to stop a vehicle, allegedly driven by Snype.
     
He underwent surgery and is expected to be okay.
