Alysha Palumbo

Alysha Palumbo is an Emmy Award-winning general assignment reporter at NBC 10 Boston and necn. She joined the station in March 2009.

A native New Englander, she grew up in Sutton, Massachusetts and is a proud alumna of Sutton High School. She graduated summa cum laude from Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.

While at NBC 10 Boston and necn, Alysha has covered the Boston Marathon bombings, the Newtown school shooting, the Springfield tornado, as well as countless New England blizzards. Alysha has also been one of a select few journalists to be inside the courtroom for several prominent court cases, including the trial of South Boston mob boss Whitey Bulger, the death penalty retrial of Gary Lee Sampson, and the Tsarnaev trial, for which she won an Emmy Award.

Prior to NBC 10 Boston and necn, Alysha was a reporter/anchor at WPRI-WNAC (CBS & FOX) in Providence, Rhode Island, WIVB-WNLO (CBS & CW) in Buffalo, New York, and WPBN (NBC) in Traverse City, Michigan.

Alysha lives in Oxford, Massachusetts with her husband Chris, their sons Bryce and Rhett, and their two dogs, Maggie and Brady.
