(NECN) - When you picture entrepreneurs, minority women may not be what first comes to mind. But minority women in the U.S. are starting their own businesses at a rapid pace. That's one of the findings of author Mary Godwyn.

Godwyn is co-author of "Minority Women Entrepreneurs: How outsider status can lead to better business practices".
