(NECN: Boston) - An oxygen tank exploded as Boston firefighters were putting out a fire in an ambulance Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Boston Fire Department's Twitter account, crews responded to the fire on the Jamaica Way at 12:18pm Tuesday.

They found the ambulance from Cataldo on fire. At least one tank exploded as water was being put on the fire.

Two firefighters were sent to Beth Israel Deaconess to get checked out for hearing issues due to the large noise from the explosion. There were no other injuries.
