Maine Drug Enforcement Agency Responds to 45th Meth Lab This Year

The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency, MDEA, searched a house and camper for a suspected meth lab in Wells. This is the MDEA's 45th response to a meth lab in 2015, which is an all-time record for the department.

According to MDEA, the lab was found Monday night. The response team arrived Tuesday morning to search the Route 1 home and the driveway camper.

The Wells Police and Fire Departments, along with state chemists and the Maine Department of Environmental Protection are assisting MDEA in this case.
