(NECN) – CNBC’s Bertha Coombs joined NECN to discuss what happened and what can be expected from the markets this week.

Coombs said that Fed. Chair Janet Yellen will be talking about the economy later this week.

She also talked about how Toyota is reportedly close to settling reports of their vehicles accelerating too quickly. The automaker could pay up to $1B to end the 4-year-long investigation.

Lastly, Coombs said that House Republicans could vote on a bill to raise the US debt ceiling as early as Wednesday.
