(NECN) - Tufts graduate Laila Selim, who returned to Cairo a couple of weeks ago to start a concert promotion business, joins NECN for a discussion about the turmoil in her country.

She just recently returned back to the U.S. She has family in Egypt and will be returning there as soon as she can.

Laila lived in Egypt until she was 18.

Egypt has exploded with joy and relief at news that President Hosni Mubarak has resigned, after 18 days of mass protests demanding his ouster.
