Police: Plow driver assaulted with shovel in Lakeville, Mass.

(NECN) - Police in Lakeville, Mass. say a plow driver was assaulted Saturday night with a shovel.

Officers responded to the area of 28 Churchill Road following reports of a disturbance between the driver and a resident. The driver told police that he had been hit in the head with a snow shovel.

Douglas Haskell was arrested for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Haskell will be arraigned in Wareham District Court on Tuesday.
