(NECN: Jim Braude) -  The book is "Klansville, USA."

In this month that celebrates black history, with America's first African-American president enjoying his second term in office, "Klansville" is a sobering reminder of another time. That time was the 1960's, when the civil rights movement flourished, was also the heyday of the Ku Klux Klan.

Joining host Jim Braude on “Broadside” Monday night is David Cunningham, the author of "Klansville, USA:  The Rise and Fall of The Civil Rights Era KKK."  Cunningham is an associate professor of sociology at Brandeis University.
