Bates College student reported missing in Italy

(NECN) - A college student from New England has been reported missing in Italy.
John Durkin, 21, is a student at Bates College in Maine. He is a native of Rye Beach, New Hampshire.

Durkin was in Rome as part of a study abroad program through Trinity College in Connecticut.
Friends say Durkin went out to a bar in Rome and hasn't been seen for two days.
Durkin's father is now on his way to Italy.
