With spring training underway, the Red Sox played their annual college doubleheader with Boston College and Northeastern University on Thursday.
"You know what was my favorite moment of that was Big Papi taking pictures with the guys from Northeastern, cause Papi can't play, but Papi can take a picture with the best of them," joked Kevin Walsh of Comcast SportsNet New England.
Although the opponents were college students, pitcher Daniel Bard's performance was encouraging.
"What I like more than anything was Bard," said Walsh. "Bard got on board and then he eventually struck out the side."
