(NECN) - The New York Times Company has reportedly gotten at least one formal bid for the Boston Globe.

The Wall Street Journal reports a bid for more than $100 million was offered in January.

The paper cited sources familiar with the matter as saying the Times company has been in talks for the past year with the potential buyer group, which includes form Boston Globe President Rick Daniels.

So far, neither the Times nor Daniels have commented on the report.
