(NECN) - Olympic Gold Medalist Aly Raisman is warming up for a new routine.

The Needham, Mass. native has been selected as part of the new "Dancing With the Stars" cast.

She will be facing off with another olympian, Dorothy Hamill, along with celebrities like Wynonna Judd and DL Hughley.

Boston native Ben Affleck has a new look.

E! News reports the "Argo" director and star shaved his beard after the Academy Awards at Craig's Restaurant during the "Argo" after party.

A source told E! he"did it to mark the end of a chapter."

The 85th annual Academy Awards were golden...in ratings, at least.

Sunday night's show had 40.3 million viewers - making it the most-watched Oscars show in three years.

Although reviews of Seth MacFarlane's hosting duties have been mixed, the show saw an 11 percent ratings boost over 2012 among viewers between the ages of 18 or 49.
