(NECN) - Massachusetts state police say they've tentatively identified the man found dead near Interstate 93 in the south end Monday.

They believe it's a 43-year-old man from Roxbury, but they're still waiting for family members to confirm the identity.

So far, police have not said exactly how the man died. But they are treating the case as a possible homicide.
