(NECN) - A Mass. teenager was shot by a BB gun while walking his dog Wednesday, and now his mother says he may lose his eye.

Brockton police say 14-year-old Elijah Rosario was shot Wednesday afternoon on the corner of Perkins and Lawrence Streets.

He felt a pain in his eye, which turned out to be a BB gun shot.

Rosario is currently being treated in the hospital, and police are looking for the people behind the shooting.
