MILLSBORO, Del. (AP) — A pro-growth group in Sussex County is sounding the alarm over what it sees as intrusive measures by state government that threaten citizens' liberties, economic freedom and property rights.

The Positive Growth Alliance planned to hold a special meeting Tuesday night at the Millsboro Fire Hall to discuss what it says are threats posed by the state to free enterprise and economic growth.

Among other things, the group is targeting a proposed Delaware endangered species law, mandatory recycling for businesses, and regulations regarding stormwater management, sea level rise, septic tanks, flooding and drainage.

The PGA also says an EPA initiative to improve water quality in the Chesapeake Bay will have drastic effects on Delaware's economy and the rights of property owners.
