(NECN) – President Obama delivered a speech on Thursday at Nashua Community College in New Hampshire on energy policy.

Political Analyst and Professor of Political Science at Stonehill College, as well as Chairman of the Department of Political Science at Stonehill, Peter Ubertaccio analyzed why the White House is on the defensive. With rising gas prices, politically, it’s not a winner for any incumbent administration.

Ubertaccio said Obama needs New Hampshire in the fall, which is the only swing state in New England.
