Malnourished dog found dragging 15-foot chain in Shelton, Conn.

(NECN) - Animal control officers in Shelton, Conn. are investigating after a malnourished dog was found dragging a 15-foot chain.
The dog, which has been named “Hank,” had cuts on his front legs from walking through ice and his snout is raw from eating snow.
The dog was taken to the vet for treatment.
Anyone with information about the dog is asked to contact the Shelton Animal Shelter at 203-924-3501 and ask for Officer Pat Dempsey.
