(NECN) - The Tough Ruck military personnel group has a new plan to complete a marathon after being unable to sign up for the Boston Marathon.
The new security rules in the Boston Marathon prohibit them from running with their rucksacks as planned, and that means a change in tradition for military members who typically walk the route in honor of their fallen comrades.
Now the group says it will run the Minuteman Battle Trail in Concord on April 19, two days before the marathon.
Details are still being worked out.

At least 700 military personnel from 29 states are expected.
