(NECN) - The MBTA subway service is expected to be running well Friday afternoon.

The buses had some mild issues that any motorist in snowy conditions would, said MBTA spokesman Joe Pesaturo during a phone interview with NECN.

A lot of crews have been working hard to get the Mattapan trolley line back up and running.

Pesaturo believes rail service will be very close to the posted schedule.

People are encouraged to visit the MBTA's winter weather page for updates.
