Snowy conditions cause dozens of flight cancellations at Logan Airport

(NECN) - The storm is impacting flights in and out of many airports. Dozens of flights at Logan Airport have been cancelled.

Director of Aviation for Massport, Ed Freni, joined NECN on the phone to discuss how the storm is effecting travel.

Freni says things are moving along slowly, but much improved from earlier Friday. There are two good runways open and conditions are continuing to improve.

Freni is urging people to call their airline before heading to Logan to check the status of their flight.
