Canton, Mass. Police search for man in early-morning shooting

6:30 a.m. UPDATE: Victim is in stable condition. Police still searching for suspect.


(NECN) - Police in Canton, Mass. are searching for a suspect who shot a man in his neck at his home.

This happened on Chapman Street in Canton around 2:20 a.m.

Police say the suspect went to the victim's home and shot the man when he answered the door. That victim was conscious and alert when he was med-flighted to a Boston hospital.

There’s no word on that victim’s condition at this time.
