(NECN) - The Patriots may have lost Wes Welker,  but there may soon be some expansion near Gillette Stadium.
The Kraft Group has proposed some new additions to Patriot Place in Foxboro, Mass. -- including a new hotel, retail store and quick-serve restaurant.
According to the Sun Chronicle, formal site plans will be filed within the next two months.
The project would be built on a 6-acre section of the plaza, just south of an existing hotel.
