DA: Person Found Dead After Car Fire

Authorities in Massachusetts are investigating after a person was found dead following a car fire in Weston last Friday.

The Middlesex district attorney's office confirms that Weston police and firefighters responded to a report of an explosion at a parking lot on Concord Road Friday evening.

When they arrived, first responders found a Honda SUV fully engulfed by fire.

When firefighters put out the blaze, one person was found deceased in the driver's seat.

The name of the victim has not been released, and an autopsy is scheduled to determine the person's cause and manner of death.

State and local authorities, including state police, Weston police, and officials with the state's Fire Marshal, are investigating the explosion.
