(NECN: Kathryn Sotnik, Boston) - People are pouring into Boston to play and learn about all the upcoming video games.

The Penny Arcade Expo is the event of the year for gamers. People started lining up in the middle of the night to get in the doors of Boston Convention Center.

"I, like, held it, and I was like, 'this is exactly what I need in my life,'" said a breathless Travis Dewing as he grasped his ticket.

Over the course of three days, upwards of 80,000 gaming enthusiasts, companies and game developers will descend on Boston for PAX East.

Tickets for all events at the convention are sold out, but are reportedly selling online for over $200.
