(NECN) - It's time for the Braude Beat and on Monday, Broadside host Jim Braude talks about some major issues heading to the Supreme Court this week.

The Supreme Court is taking up some highly controversial topics, including gay marriage and affirmative action. Despite the conservative leaning of the court, Braude says he thinks the outcome may be a better than many pro- gay marriage people fear.

Also, some Tea Party members have decided to boycott Fox News because they don't feel the outlet is conservative enough on certain issues.
