(NECN) - The race for the Republican nomination is heating up. Despite Rick Santorum's 11th win in the primary process, the latest delegate count shows that Mitt Romney has more than twice the amount as his rival.
Romney's team has dismissed Santorum's recent win in Louisiana, comparing it to a football team celebrating a field goal when they are losing by seven touchdowns with less than a minute left in the game.
Santorum has blasted Romney as worst Republican candidate to go up against President Obama, and called for a one-on-one debate.
Santorum has also blasted Romney's health care system created for Massachusetts when he was governor, which was used as a model for the Obama Administration's health care law - an issue going before the Supreme court starting on Monday.
