(NECN/CSN: Kevin Walsh) – March Madness is getting exciting. Florida Gulf Coast is making their Sweet 16 appearance Friday night against Florida.

Michigan State will face Duke. Kansas and Michigan will go head to head, and Oregon will try to upset Louisville.

We’re just days away from the start of real baseball, and the Boston Red Sox are making some moves.

The team hasn’t come out and said Jackie Bradley Jr. has made the team yet, but Walsh says he is ending all suspense.

“He made the team. He’s going to be on the roster. And he absolutely deserves it. It’s just a matter of circumstance. He can’t make a better argument for himself than the numbers he put up in spring training, batted .441, on base percentage over .500 and he’s an upgrade in left field.”

Walsh said he’s going to miss Mayor Tom Menino because he gave the sports people a lot to talk about by botching names like Rondo and Gronkowski.
