(NECN) - Bus company Fung Wah has been ordered to stop all operations by the federal government. The Department of Transportation is now saying an additional inspection of Fung Wah buses shows the service is a public safety hazard by failing to repair its vehicles, falsifying inspection records and failing to meet drug and alcohol testing requirements. Just last month, federal regulators revoked the company's operating license.
JetBlue Airways is expanding its presence at Boston's Logan Airport. Beginning July 25, it will offer twice-a-day flights to Houston's William P. Hobby airport. Currently, United is the only carrier making non-stop trips between Boston and Houston. This will be JetBlue's 49th destination out of Logan where it is currently the largest carrier.
AT&T will start taking pre-orders for Samsung's Galaxy-S 4 on April 16. The phone is $250 with a two-year contract. That's $50 higher than the phone's predecessor, the Galaxy S-3, and Apple's iPhone 5. AT&T hasn't said when the phone will go on sale in stores or when pre-orders will be delivered to customers.
A new study shows smartphone users are apparently huge Facebook fans. The Facebook-sponsored study found that users check their pages on the social network an average of 14 times a day. That amounts to about 32 minutes of daily Facebook time on their phone. Those people used their smart phones about 2-and-a-half-hours a day.
