(NECN) -   Police in Bedford, NH, are making progress as they investigate a home invasion last fall that left a women dead and her husband seriously injured.

The Union Leader reports investigators now know why the couple's home was broken into.

Still, they're not making the motive public, nor are they saying whether this was a random act.

Dr. Eduardo Quesada and his wife, Sonia, were attacked in their home back in November. Sonia Quesada later died as a result of her injuries. Eduardo Quesada survived.
