JetBlue Adds Flights From Boston to Atlanta for Super Bowl

The increase in flights will run every day between Friday Feb. 1 and Monday Feb. 4.

JetBlue announced Sunday that it would be adding flights from Boston to Atlanta for the Super Bowl weekend.

According to a press release from the company, it will add flights and operate larger aircraft to help New England Patriots fans get to Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta for the Super Bowl on Feb. 3.

The increase in flights will run every day between Friday Feb. 1 and Monday Feb. 4.

According to JetBlue, the change will result in a 70 percent increase in capacity for fans looking to fly to the big game.

JetBlue is the top airline in Boston, the company's statement said. Boston is JetBlue's New England focus city and a key component in the airline's growth strategy.

The New England Patriots defeated the Chiefs in Kansas City Sunday night 37-31. They will face the Los Angeles Rams in the Super Bowl on Feb. 3.
