Man flees during robbery attempt at NH store

KEENE, N.H. (AP) — Police in Keene, N.H., are looking for a man who tried to rob a convenience store, then fled when the clerk refused to hand over the money.

Police said a knife was reported to have been shown during the attempted robbery at Romy's Market on Monday night. No one was hurt.

The man was described as white, 5-foot-8, average build, wearing dark clothing.

Police are asking the public for any help with the case.
