(NECN) - A Texas hospital has made national headlines, after setting hiring standards that include weight limits for perspective employees.

Employment Attorney and Managing Partner at Gordon Law Group, Philip Gordon, joined "The Morning Show" to talk about the controversial hiring practice.

The Texas Tribune reports that Victoria Hospital now mandates that the body of each employee "should fit with a representational image or specific mental projection of the job of a healthcare professional."

In 2010, Whole Foods instituted the Team Member Healthy Discount Program which offered higher employee discounts to those with lower BMIs.
