(NECN: Mike Cronin) -  Friday quite a day for Helen Kelly.
The 100-year-old West Boylston resident was honored with a tradition that's older than her.
She was presented with a Boston Post Cane Award.

She was also given a cake, but wasn’t interested in dessert.

“I think that it’s wonderful. Be careful that I don’t hit you now,” said Kelly.
