(NECN) - One of the most storied traditions of the Boston Marathon is father and son running team Dick and Rick Hoyt.
This will be their 31st time running the race.
Last week, a statue of the two was unveiled near the starting line in Hopkinton, Mass.
Over the past 34 years, Dick, now 73, and Rick, 51, have run more than a thousand races, including 252 triathlons and 70 marathons.
