(NECN) – Dr. Peter Burke, Chief of Trauma Services at Boston Medical Center gave an update on those injured in the Boston Marathon explosions Wednesday morning.

23 patients were admitted and 19 remain while ten are in critical condition

He said they plan on re-operating on about eight of the patients Wednesday.
