(NECN) – Professor Herman Leonard of the Harvard Kennedy School of Government joins NECN to talk about security for large outdoor events.

“These are extremely difficult kinds of events to provide security for,” said Leonard.

Leonard offers insight on what will be done next year, and what could be done better.

“You don’t want to create this event as something that looks like an armed camp,” he said.
