(NECN) – Cardinal Sean O’Malley spoke in the “Healing Our City” Service about overcoming the culture of grief and death, and working together as a community.

He said that Pope Francis sent a message of love and support.

O’Malley spoke of how people need to not to be overcome by evil, but to combat evil with good.
