Cardinal Sean O’Malley: We must overcome the culture of death

(NECN) – Cardinal Sean O’Malley spoke in the “Healing Our City” Service about overcoming the culture of grief and death, and working together as a community.

He said that Pope Francis sent a message of love and support.

O’Malley spoke of how people need to not to be overcome by evil, but to combat evil with good.

He said the bombings has made us relive the horrors of Sept. 11, but the same tragedy has brought us together as a community

“We must overcome the culture of Death,” he said.
