Officer injured in manhunt identified

(NECN) - The transit police officer severely wounded in a shootout with the Boston Marathon bombing suspect has been identified by authorizes.
 
MBTA Police Chief Paul MacMillan says the wounded officer is three-year veteran Richard Donohue.

He went into surgery this morning and is in critical condition.
