Investigating the surviving suspect of the bombing

(NECN) - Retired FBI agent and president of TSD Security Consulting Tanya DeGenova joined NECN to talk about the investigation of surviving Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

In regards to Tsarnaev being allowed to go to Russia before the bombings happened DeGenova said this isn’t something that the U.S. controls.

“We don’t issue exit visas out of the United States,” she said.

DeGenova said that the Chechnyans have not been a problem to the U.S., so it is not likely Russia is involved.

“To this particular incident, we have not had the Chechnyans have not posed a problem to the United States or to its interests.
