(NECN) - The suspects of the Boston Marathon bombings are  just one piece of the investigation.
There are also growing questions about the suspects' families.
Attorney Stephen Huggard is a partner at the law firm of Edwards Wildman in Boston.

He says that one is never compelled to be a witness against their spouse, but because Katherine Russell Tsarnaev’s spouse is dead, she may have to witness against her brother-in-law, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

“Because it’s a serious case, that’s why they’re taking it cautiously,” said Huggard.
