(NECN) - In the wake of the Boston Marathon bombings, Neil Diamond is donating this week's sales from "Sweet Caroline" to the bombing victims.

Diamond made a special appearance at Fenway Park last weekend to sing that song along with the crowd.
According to Nielsen Soundscan, sales from "Sweet Caroline" are up by nearly 600 percent.

19,000 tracks have been sold this week alone.
Diamond released "Sweet Caroline" back in 1969.
