UPDATE: Tuesday's Statnamic Testing in Fenway area of Boston is canceled. Testing is on schedule for Wednesday from 1 to 3 p.m.

(NECN) - If you live or work near Boston's Fenway area, don't be alarmed if you hear some loud "bangs" Tuesday afternoon.

The city says the three, loud "bang" sounds will be heard between one and three Tuesday afternoon, each about a half-hour apart.
The sounds will last less than a second and are related to construction work being done on the Muddy River in the Fens.

Considering all that has happened here recently, the city wanted to alert people to the noises.
