(NECN) – For more on the Boston Marathon bombing case, Criminal Defense Attorney Randy Chapman joined NECN.

Dias Kadyrbayev, Azamat Tazhayakov and Robel Phillipos have recently been arrested for lying to officials about information regarding the Boston Marathon bombings and for destroying evidence possibly connected to Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

β€œIt is effectively that they attempted to destroy evidence that was inference of the investigation,” said Chapman.

It may not be as malicious as the crime itself, but is still serious.

The suspects may be asked to cooperate in exchange for a deal.
