Officials investigating fatal Salem, Mass. fire

(NECN) - One person has died in an early-morning fire in Salem, Mass.

The fire started in a home on Beacon Street and went to two alarms.

Firefighters knocked down the flames, but one person did not make it out alive.

There's no word on what caused the fire.

The victim's name has not yet been released.
