(NECN) – On Friday, May 10, 2013, former Wilmington High classmates of fallen MIT police officer Sean Collier will celebrate his life and raise money in his name.

The fundraiser will be at the Knights of Columbus in Tewksbury, Mass. from 7:30 to 11 p.m.

All proceeds will go towards a memorial scholarship in Collier's name. The scholarship is for graduates of Wilmington High, who plan to pursue a degree in criminal justice, law enforcement, or enter the military.
Collier was shot to death allegedly by the marathon bombing suspects.
