(NECN) – Meteorologist Danielle Niles says temperatures have cooled off just a bit. Most spots are running in the mid to upper 40s, with some cooler pockets in northern New England.

Clouds have bubbled up in the north and western, Mass.

There are a few passing showers in Maine and some drizzle in Vermont, but there isn’t much rain activity.

Sunshine and warm air are headed to New England for our weekend.

Friday will be in the 60s for almost everyone, except northern Maine.

Clouds will build and billow in the sky, presenting a threat for an isolated shower. The clouds may linger until 9 or 10 p.m.

There will be mostly clear skies Friday night.

Saturday will be in the 70s, with clouds increasing late in the day, but the sun will be out

Sunday may see a pop-up storm late in the day, but the temperature will be up to 75 or 80 degrees.

Niles has your wakeup weather and more on your weekend forecast.
